Audit Manager (Insurance)

About the role

Deloitte is seeking an experienced Audit Manager to lead insurance audit engagements for key financial‑services clients in Bermuda. You will be responsible for delivering high‑quality audit services while embracing emerging technologies and regulatory changes.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of insurance and financial‑services clients throughout the audit engagement cycle.
• Lead audit planning, execution, financial‑statement review, and reporting.
• Liaise with client staff, ensuring clear communication and timely delivery of audit results.
• Train and mentor audit teams on audit tools, new technologies, and regulatory standards.
• Develop and coach team members, fostering a culture of integrity and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent qualification (e.g., ACCA).
• Professional accounting designation (ACA, ACCA, CA, CPA).
• 4‑6 years of progressive audit experience, including recent manager‑level responsibilities.
• Experience working with insurance industry clients, preferably in a large public‑accounting firm.
