About the role

Pronto, Bermuda’s leading online grocery service, is looking for a full‑time Bookkeeper to join its Hamilton office. The role will handle day‑to‑day financial record keeping, support month‑end and year‑end closing, and provide accurate financial data to help the business run smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Post and reconcile journal entries, maintain ledgers, and ensure the accuracy of all financial records.
• Prepare and review basic financial statements, track accounts payable and receivable, and assist with bank reconciliations.
• Use accounting software to process transactions, generate reports, and support month‑end and year‑end closing activities.
• Collaborate with management to provide financial insights, maintain compliance with company policies, and support efficient operations.

Required profile

• Must be a resident of Bermuda.
• Strong bookkeeping and finance experience, including ledger management and daily transaction handling.
• Analytical mindset with high attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
• Relevant diploma or degree in accounting, finance, or business and prior experience in a similar role is advantageous.
