Culinary Apprentice

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Culinary Apprentice to join the luxury culinary team at Fairmont Southampton, Bermuda’s largest resort. Working under the Sous Chef and Chef de Partie, you will receive structured on‑the‑job training while supporting food preparation across our nine restaurants and other outlets.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the culinary team with ingredient preparation – washing, peeling, cutting, chopping and measuring.
• Support the cooking and plating of dishes according to menu specifications and recipe standards.
• Learn and practice fundamental culinary techniques, including knife handling, cooking methods and food safety procedures.
• Rotate through various kitchen stations to gain exposure to different cuisines and service styles.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to hygiene and safety standards.
