Food & Beverage Supervisor

About the role

Fairmont Southampton is seeking a Food & Beverage Supervisor to join its luxury hospitality team. Reporting to the Maître d’, you will oversee restaurant operations, guide the service team, and ensure a seamless, high‑quality dining experience for guests.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise assigned sections and support the team to deliver consistent, high‑quality service.
• Coordinate opening and closing procedures, ensuring all setups meet departmental standards.
• Greet guests, present menus, explain specials, and respond to food and beverage inquiries.
• Take and relay accurate orders via POS, ensuring timely delivery.
• Monitor guest satisfaction, address concerns promptly, and escalate issues when necessary.
• Maintain clean, safe, organized, and well‑stocked service stations.
• Ensure tables are properly set, cleared, and reset throughout the shift.
• Promote menu items, beverage specials, and other offerings to enhance guest experience and revenue.
• Communicate guest allergies, dietary restrictions, and special requests clearly to kitchen and service teams.

Required profile

• Ability to monitor guest satisfaction and address concerns promptly.
• Strong attention to detail in service setup and station organization.
• Effective communication with guests, kitchen staff, and team members.

Required skills

• Proficiency with POS (point‑of‑sale) systems.
