Food & Beverage Truck Driver – Heavy

About the role

Join Fairmont Southampton’s Food & Beverage team as a Heavy Truck Driver, responsible for transporting goods and materials across the resort to support banquets, events and daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Operate company trucks safely, complying with all traffic and safety regulations.
• Complete assigned deliveries and collections on time according to the daily dispatch schedule.
• Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections and report any issues promptly.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform basic upkeep.
• Load, unload and secure cargo safely, using pallet jacks, dollies or other warehouse equipment.
• Utilise radios, mobile applications or delivery logs to track and communicate deliveries.
• Make sound decisions when faced with unexpected road or delivery challenges.
• Provide support to Banquets, Events and other Food & Beverage departments as directed.

Required profile

• Valid heavy‑vehicle driver’s licence.
• Physical ability to lift, load and unload supplies.
• Strong attention to safety and detail.
• Ability to work flexible hours to meet resort operational needs.

Required skills

• Heavy vehicle driving.
• Pallet jack and dolly operation.
• Use of delivery tracking tools such as radios and mobile apps.
• Basic vehicle inspection and maintenance.
