Front Desk/Concierge Agent

About the role

At The Loren Hotel in Bermuda, the Front Desk/Concierge Agent is the first point of contact for guests, embodying the brand’s five‑star service standards from arrival to departure. The role blends traditional front‑desk duties with personalized concierge assistance, ensuring every stay is memorable and aligned with the hotel’s sustainability ethos.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests, manage check‑in and check‑out processes accurately and efficiently.
• Confirm reservations, verify payments, and accommodate special requests whenever possible.
• Provide detailed information on hotel amenities, services, operating hours, and local attractions.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to maintain up‑to‑date room status.
• Handle cashiering functions, including posting charges, paid‑outs, and currency exchange.
• Assist guests with transportation, dining, tours, ticket bookings, and personalized recommendations.
• Respond promptly to guest inquiries, concerns, and requests, ensuring professional resolution.
• Support luggage handling, message delivery, and maintain front‑desk organization and cleanliness.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of front‑office experience in reception, concierge, or related administrative roles.
• Previous hotel experience preferred, with familiarity with property management systems such as OPERA or RDPWin.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a strong guest‑service focus.
• Detail‑oriented, able to multitask and perform well under pressure.
• Professional presentation and genuine passion for hospitality.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends, nights, and public holidays.
