Golf Operations Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Golf Operations Manager to lead the golf department at Fairmont Southampton, Bermuda’s largest resort. Reporting to the Director of Leisure & Recreation, you will ensure a world‑class golf experience for members, guests and visitors in a luxury hospitality setting.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the golf department, from arrival to completion of play.
• Maintain a visible presence and ensure all guest touchpoints meet Fairmont service standards.
• Manage tee‑time scheduling, player flow, course access and golf services.
• Ensure the golf shop, practice areas, clubhouse and other guest‑facing areas are clean, organized and presented to luxury standards.
• Build strong relationships with members and guests, anticipate needs and respond to requests or concerns.
• Monitor guest feedback, own service recovery and resolve issues promptly.
• Collaborate with the Golf Superintendent on course conditions, budgeting and operational requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading golf operations in a luxury hotel or resort environment.
• Strong operational leadership and commercial awareness.
• Excellent guest engagement and relationship‑building skills.
• Ability to develop and motivate a team.
