Houseperson

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Houseperson to join the housekeeping team at Fairmont Southampton, Bermuda’s largest resort. Reporting to the Executive Housekeeper, you will help maintain the high standards of cleanliness and presentation that our guests expect.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and maintain guest rooms, including vacuuming, dusting, polishing, and floor care.
• Ensure public areas are tidy and presentable at all times.
• Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests for additional cleaning or services.
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or operational concerns to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Follow all safety procedures, hotel hygiene standards, and maintain a safe work environment.
• Support the housekeeping team with linen delivery, cart restocking, and supply replenishment.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Team‑player attitude with effective collaboration skills.
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties and handle equipment.
• Good communication skills to interact with guests and staff.
