Maintenance Technician

About the role

At The Loren, hospitality is seen as a calling to inspire and elevate guests while protecting the environment. As a Maintenance Technician you will ensure the safety, maintenance, and functionality of all hotel, residence, and villa mechanical systems across multiple properties in Bermuda.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain guest rooms and public areas, including ice machines, fitness rooms, pools, generators, switch rooms, and ventilation units.
• Perform electrical, HVAC, plumbing, painting, masonry, and carpentry tasks as required.
• Conduct preventive maintenance to keep equipment and rooms in excellent operational and visual condition.
• Maintain accurate records and logs for infrastructure and room conditions and report activities to management.
• Support property upkeep such as beach cleaning and heavy lifting when needed.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a primary trade (electrical, HVAC, or plumbing).
• Previous experience working in a hotel property.
• Strong record‑keeping, time‑management, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Physically fit and capable of heavy lifting and outdoor work.
