Recreation Attendant

About the role

Join Fairmont Southampton, Bermuda’s largest resort, as a Recreation Attendant. Reporting to the Recreation Manager, you will help deliver memorable leisure experiences for guests across the Beach Club, Spa Pool, and resort pools, ensuring safety, comfort, and exceptional service.

Key responsibilities

• Provide warm, attentive guest service, responding to daily needs and requests.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe recreation facilities, including poolside areas and beach amenities.
• Replenish towels, loungers, umbrellas, water, sunscreen, and other guest supplies throughout the day.
• Lead and support recreation programming such as pool games, family activities, sports, crafts, and themed events.
• Monitor equipment and report any maintenance issues promptly.

Required profile

• Friendly, proactive attitude with a passion for hospitality.
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact with guests of diverse backgrounds.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Required skills

• Basic computer literacy for logging guest interactions and inventory.
