Account Executive, Insurance Management

About the role

Artex reimagines risk management with bold thinking and deep expertise. As an Account Executive in Insurance Management, you will join the global Artex Capital Solutions team to provide day‑to‑day management services for a portfolio of insurance‑linked security entities. You will work closely with the Assistant Vice President and compliance teams to ensure client needs are met and regulatory standards are upheld.

Key responsibilities

• Provide accounting and administrative services to a portfolio of insurance‑linked security entities.
• Monitor client compliance with relevant laws and regulations, escalating issues promptly.
• Draft management accounts and IFRS/GAAP financial statements.
• Coordinate and prepare all regulatory filings.
• Liaise with client personnel and service providers.
• Prepare meeting materials and present at client meetings.
• Follow internal policies, procedures, and risk control standards.
• Assist the Compliance Officer with remedial actions for non‑compliance.
• Contribute to strategic priorities and internal system effectiveness.
• Participate in industry‑related educational opportunities and lead assigned projects.

Required profile

• Accounting designation (CA, CPA, ACA, ACCA).
• At least 18 months recent (re)insurance experience in financial reporting or accounting.
• Knowledge of the Bermuda regulatory environment (advantageous).
• Detailed knowledge of IFRS and U.S. GAAP, especially insurance and investment accounting standards.
• Strong financial reporting and analytical abilities.
• Advanced computer literacy, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to multi‑task, adapt to changing priorities, and meet deadlines.
• Excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills with the ability to engage at all levels.
