Actuarial Associate III – Reinsurance Pricing

About the role

Join Athene's Reinsurance Pricing team as an Actuarial Associate III. You will support the pricing, underwriting, and structuring of asset‑intensive reinsurance transactions, while driving model development and framework enhancements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop pricing models for flow reinsurance transactions.
• Analyze profitability and risk profiles of deals and recommend solutions.
• Support onboarding of business into management and financial reporting.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance pricing tools and models.
• Review and validate work produced within the team.
• Present and communicate pricing results to senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in mathematics or a quantitative field.
• Actuarial qualification in progress (FSA or FIA).
• 5+ years of actuarial experience, including long‑term reinsurance products.
• Experience with fixed‑rate and indexed annuities (preferred).
• Proficiency with actuarial projection and valuation software.
• Ability to leverage AI tools to improve workflows and decision‑making.
• Strong communication skills in English and ability to interact with senior management.
