Actuarial Consulting Manager – Life (Bermuda)

About the role

EY is seeking an experienced Actuarial Consulting Manager to lead its Life insurance practice within the Financial Services Office in Bermuda. You will work with multidisciplinary teams across the UK, Europe and the US, delivering cross‑border engagements and helping clients navigate complex actuarial challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Lead client engagement teams on Life insurance projects covering financial reporting, risk management and actuarial transformation.
• Develop and deliver financial models, support mergers and acquisitions, and provide audit and approved actuary assistance.
• Advise on capital optimisation, investment strategies, new business start‑ups and IFRS 17 implementation.
• Manage and mentor team members, fostering strong client relationships and ensuring high‑quality deliverables on time and within budget.

Required profile

• Qualified actuarial professional with extensive experience in the Life insurance/reinsurance market.
• Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and coordinate cross‑border projects.
• Strong client‑facing skills and a track record of delivering strategic advisory services.
