Assistant Maître D’ – Luxury Hospitality

About the role

We are seeking an Assistant Maître D’ to join the Food & Beverage team at Fairmont Southampton, Bermuda’s premier luxury resort. Reporting to the Maître D’, you will help ensure a flawless guest arrival and dining experience across our restaurant outlets.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests, manage reservations and seating plans, and oversee dining room flow.
• Maintain a strong floor presence, anticipate guest needs, and resolve issues promptly.
• Uphold Fairmont and Accor service standards, LQA guidelines, and brand expectations.
• Support daily restaurant operations from opening to closing, including reservation management and coordination with the kitchen.
• Assist in maximizing revenue through effective table management and upselling initiatives.
• Coach and develop service team members to deliver exceptional service.
