Assistant Vice President, Transaction Operations

About the role

The Assistant Vice President, Transaction Operations will support Artex Capital Solutions in managing a large, sophisticated reinsurance portfolio that includes Insurance Linked Securities companies and segregated account transactions. Reporting to the Vice President of Transaction Operations, you will oversee day‑to‑day operational activities, ensure accurate contract administration, and maintain strong relationships with investors, trustees, and brokers.

Key responsibilities

• Provide operational support for the reinsurance portfolio, supervising and training direct reports.
• Maintain and enhance relationships with investors, reinsurance trustees, and brokers.
• Produce accurate, timely reporting for investors and senior leadership using Artex and third‑party systems.
• Draft, review, execute, and record reinsurance, trust, and shareholder agreements, including endorsements, commutations, and novations.
• Liaise with internal teams (Financial Reporting, Business Development, Compliance) and external partners to ensure smooth deal flow.
• Document, maintain, and refresh underwriting guidelines, processes, and procedures.
• Oversee trust agreement language, trust opening, collateral investment, ongoing reporting, and account closure.
• Execute trust account withdrawals and payments promptly.
• Participate in business transformation projects as directed by senior leadership.

Required profile

• Proven experience in reinsurance transaction operations or a related finance function.
• Strong understanding of contract administration, collateral management, and investor reporting.
• Ability to supervise teams, manage stakeholder relationships, and drive process improvements.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with a focus on client service.
