Associate - Restructuring & Insolvency

About the role

Alvarez & Marsal is seeking an Associate to join its Restructuring & Insolvency team. You will work on high‑profile advisory and formal insolvency assignments, supporting multi‑stakeholder and cross‑border engagements.

Key responsibilities

• Administer case files and manage portfolios for restructuring and insolvency projects.
• Develop and maintain financial models, perform cash‑flow and capital‑structure analysis.
• Ensure statutory compliance for formal insolvency appointments.
• Support business development initiatives and assist in deal origination.
• Collaborate with senior Managing Directors on multi‑national engagements.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (CPA, ACA, ACCA) preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience in a Big 4 insolvency/restructuring team or audit background.
• Strong desire to build expertise in restructuring and insolvency.
• Ability to work on company‑side advisory, accelerated sales, IBRs, and contingency planning.
