Bellman / Doorman

About the role

The Bellman/Doorman greets and welcomes all guests, handles luggage and parcels, and keeps the lobby and forecourt areas clean while delivering the highest standards of hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Man the bell desk at all times and ensure smooth, fast baggage handling for arrivals and departures.
• Collect and deliver luggage, packages, and guest messages, logging all movements in the register.
• Maintain a clean and tidy working area, lobby, and forecourt.
• Coordinate with reception and other departments to exchange guest information and fulfill requests.
• Handle guest calls for bell stand and door services, and assist with group check‑ins.
• Process left‑luggage forms, tag and record all baggage movements, and ensure policy compliance.
• Distribute mail, couriers, newspapers, and arrange shuttle, taxi, and airport transfers.
• Observe safety and security rules, alert management to unattended packages or strangers, and assist VVIP or special‑need guests.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of bellman/doorman experience in a hotel environment.
• Familiarity with hotel operating systems such as OPERA or RDPWin PMS.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a strong guest‑service focus.
• Attention to detail, ability to multitask and work well under pressure.
• Professional presentation, independent work style, and flexibility to work shifts, weekends, nights, and public holidays.
• Eligibility: Bermudian, spouse of a Bermudian, or PRC holder.
