Business Analyst & Project Manager – Insurance Technology

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst / Project Manager to lead the implementation of a specialist insurance software platform and to drive related data, integration, analytics, and AI projects. You will work closely with clients to configure the solution, ensure successful delivery, and act as a trusted adviser on how the platform can support their business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end platform implementations, from discovery and requirements gathering through configuration, testing and go‑live.
• Configure the platform to match client products, processes, workflows and reporting, and document current and future state processes.
• Collaborate with technical consultants on data migration, system integration and reporting, and coordinate with back‑office and group systems.
• Produce functional specifications, user stories and test plans; coordinate testing and ensure readiness for launch.
• Deliver demonstrations, training sessions and documentation, and provide front‑line functional support.
• Facilitate workshops and process reviews, translate business needs into clear, testable requirements, and identify opportunities for standardisation and automation.
• Act as a trusted adviser, preparing proposals, effort estimates and statements of work.
• Plan and manage implementation, data, analytics and AI projects, maintaining project plans, status reports and risk logs.

Required profile

• Strong experience in the insurance or reinsurance market, with a solid understanding of commercial insurance, underwriting, claims or related operations.
• Proven background as a business analyst, project manager, implementation consultant or product owner delivering technology solutions.
• Ability to translate complex business processes into functional specifications and guide clients through change management.
