Compensation & Benefits Manager

About the role

Fairmont Southampton is seeking a Compensation & Benefits Manager to lead the design, administration, and continuous improvement of its compensation and benefits programs. Reporting to the Director of People & Culture, you will ensure that reward practices align with the resort’s talent strategy, market competitiveness, and financial objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and maintain compensation programs, salary structures, job evaluations, and pay practices.
• Conduct market benchmarking and compensation analysis to ensure external competitiveness and internal equity.
• Support annual compensation review processes, merit planning, and salary adjustments.
• Review job classifications and salary ranges, providing recommendations to leadership.
• Analyze compensation trends and advise on strategic adjustments.
• Manage the administration of employee benefits programs, including health, wellness, retirement, and insurance.
• Partner with Finance, Payroll, and operational leaders to deliver equitable, compliant reward programs.
