Compliance Senior Specialist

About the role

The Compliance Senior Specialist provides expert guidance and hands‑on support to the Bermuda Business Unit, Global High Net Worth and Asia Segment Compliance teams. The role focuses on anti‑money laundering, anti‑terrorist financing, privacy program management and regulatory reporting, ensuring the business operates within all applicable rules.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) reviews for new applicants, high‑risk customers, banks and third‑party partners.
• Review AML alerts, watch‑list scans and transaction monitoring results.
• Perform ownership‑structure and payor due‑diligence assessments.
• Manage the privacy program, including incident reporting and handling.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly compliance reports for the BU and division.
• Develop, update and communicate policies, procedures and training materials.
• Support senior compliance leaders on special projects and global initiatives.

Required profile

• University degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in financial services compliance, AML, or related risk management.
• Strong organizational, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High ethical standards and a disciplined work approach.
