Director of Learning

About the role

We are seeking a Director, Learning to lead the learning and development function at Fairmont Southampton, Bermuda’s largest resort. Reporting to People & Culture, you will shape the strategic learning agenda, ensuring all colleagues have access to high‑quality training and career pathways that support service excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the resort’s Learning & Development strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Conduct annual and ongoing Learning Needs Analyses to identify gaps and opportunities.
• Build a structured annual learning plan covering mandatory, brand, operational, service, leadership and compliance training.
• Partner with department heads to embed learning goals within departmental strategies.
• Design, develop and deliver training programmes using blended methods such as classroom, on‑the‑job, e‑learning and coaching.
• Facilitate Fairmont and Accor brand‑standard programmes, including service culture initiatives.
