Director of Rooms – Luxury Hotel

About the role

The Director of Rooms will lead the Rooms Division of Hamilton Princess & Beach Club, Bermuda’s premier luxury urban resort. Reporting to the Hotel Manager, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences while driving financial performance and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Provide proactive, professional guest service and support fellow colleagues.
• Participate in strategic planning, revenue forecasting, and environmental commitments.
• Lead all departments to achieve financial and operational targets through policy development and colleague training.
• Implement Accor’s Core Standards to ensure service excellence.
• Motivate teams to deliver seamless service from arrival to departure.
• Prepare annual budgets, capital submissions and monitor monthly financial results for the Rooms Division.
• Manage yield and RevPAR performance against the competitive set.
• Oversee recruitment, training, and development of Rooms staff.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years senior leadership experience in a luxury hotel environment.
• University or college degree in a related discipline.
• Proven ability to coordinate multiple departments to achieve GSI, GOP, and EEI targets.
• Strong decision‑making, relationship‑building and influencing skills.
• Willingness to work additional hours, including weekends and public holidays.
