Driver/Equipment Handler

About the role

The Driver/Equipment Handler ensures safe, timely movement of catering goods, equipment and supplies between our catering facility and client locations such as airports, aircraft and private jets. You will operate company vehicles, follow airside routes and comply with aviation security and food‑safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles to deliver catering orders and equipment to designated client sites, adhering to flight schedules and customer specifications.
• Follow approved airside routes and airport driving regulations, maintaining speed limits and safety protocols.
• Load and unload catering trolleys, containers and food‑service equipment using proper handling techniques.
• Assist with set‑up and break‑down of galley equipment according to airline standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper storage of transport equipment such as carts, racks and bins.
• Support unloading of shipping containers and sorting items into storage zones.
• Comply with aviation security procedures, including ID checks, vehicle inspections and restricted‑area access.
• Observe food‑safety and hygiene practices during loading, transit and delivery.
• Report any vehicle or equipment issues promptly to supervisors or maintenance teams.

Required profile

• Physical stamina and ability to handle manual loading/unloading tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and hygiene standards.
• Ability to follow schedules, routes and security protocols accurately.
• Reliability and punctuality in meeting delivery timelines.
