Executive Housekeeper – Luxury Hotel

About the role

Fairmont Southampton, Bermuda’s largest resort, is seeking an Executive Housekeeper to lead the Housekeeping and Laundry departments. Reporting to the Executive Assistant Manager, Rooms & Recreation, you will ensure that every guest space meets the brand’s luxury standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily cleaning and maintenance of guest rooms, suites, public areas, corridors, offices and back‑of‑house spaces.
• Manage in‑house laundry operations and any contracted laundry services, ensuring compliance with hygiene protocols.
• Conduct regular inspections to guarantee that rooms, public areas and laundry facilities consistently exceed Fairmont standards.
• Develop, implement and enforce cleaning procedures, quality‑control measures and safety guidelines.
• Lead, mentor and train a large housekeeping team, fostering a culture of service excellence and productivity.

Required profile

• Proven experience in senior housekeeping management within a luxury hotel or resort environment.
• Strong leadership and team‑development abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high‑quality standards.
• Ability to manage budgets, inventories and vendor relationships.

Required skills

• Knowledge of housekeeping and laundry best practices, hygiene standards and safety regulations.
• Experience with quality‑control inspections and performance monitoring.
