Housekeeping Supervisor

About the role

Fairmont Southampton is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to lead the day‑to‑day operations of the housekeeping team on designated floors. Reporting to the Assistant Director of Housekeeping, you will ensure guest rooms and public areas consistently meet the brand’s high standards of cleanliness, comfort, and presentation.

Key responsibilities

• Assign rooms and tasks to attendants according to the sectional schedule.
• Train, coach, and supervise room attendants, monitoring performance and providing feedback.
• Conduct thorough inspections of guest rooms and public areas, addressing any deficiencies immediately.
• Maintain consistent quality standards across assigned floors.
• Respond promptly to guest complaints or requests related to housekeeping and collaborate with other departments to resolve issues.

Required profile

• Experience supervising housekeeping staff in a hotel environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to uphold high cleanliness standards.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
