Junior Civil/Structural Engineer (Bermuda)

About the role

Onsite Engineering is seeking a motivated Junior Civil/Structural Engineer to join its growing team in Bermuda. Reporting to the Senior Civil/Structural Engineer, you will support the design and coordination of structural systems for hotel, commercial, and residential projects while collaborating with multiple engineering disciplines.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with structural design and drafting of foundations, slabs, beams, and columns using Revit and AutoCAD.
• Support project coordination and communication with clients, consultants, and internal teams.
• Participate in site visits, design reviews, and project meetings.
• Stay current with industry codes, technologies, and best practices through professional development.
• Contribute to administrative tasks such as timesheets, invoicing, and document management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or near completion).
• Strong interest in building systems and sustainable design.
• Eagerness to learn, grow, and work in a team environment.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude.

Required skills

• Proficiency or willingness to learn Revit.
• Proficiency or willingness to learn AutoCAD.
• Competence in Excel.
• Familiarity with structural analysis software (a plus).
