Laundry Supervisor

About the role

We are looking for a Laundry Supervisor to lead the laundry department at Fairmont Southampton, Bermuda’s largest resort. Reporting to the Executive Housekeeper, you will ensure that all hotel and guest laundry is processed efficiently, meeting the high quality standards of the Fairmont and Accor brands.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily laundry operations including washing, drying, pressing, folding and distribution of hotel and guest items.
• Maintain quality and care standards for linen, uniforms and guest garments, conducting regular inspections.
• Monitor workflow, turnaround times and productivity to optimise efficiency.
• Supervise, train and schedule the laundry team, fostering a safe and collaborative work environment.
• Maintain laundry equipment, manage supplies and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Respond professionally to guest inquiries and resolve any service issues.

Required profile

• Proven experience in hotel or large‑scale laundry operations.
• Strong leadership and team‑development abilities.
• Attention to detail and commitment to high service standards.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced hospitality environment.

Required skills

• Operation of commercial laundry equipment.
• Knowledge of fabric care and stain removal techniques.
• Inventory management for linens and supplies.
