About the role
Freisenbruch Insurance Services Ltd. is looking for an enthusiastic, motivated individual to join the team as a Life and Pension Agent. Reporting to the Acting Head of Pension, Life and Investments, this entry‑level position focuses on supporting business development, identifying prospective clients, and learning to deliver appropriate pension and life insurance solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Support lead generation and sales activities for life insurance solutions and individual pension plans through prospecting, referrals, and networking.
- Work toward established sales targets with guidance from senior team members.
- Attend industry events, networking engagements, and business development opportunities to build market awareness.
- Maintain an active sales pipeline and participate in sales meetings for coaching and progress review.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with prospective and existing clients to support satisfaction and retention.
- Promote life insurance and pension products in a professional, client‑focused manner.
- Communicate product features, benefits, and basic policy information clearly, escalating complex queries to senior agents.
- Assist in preparing sales materials and presentations for prospective clients.
- Follow established compliance, regulatory, and KYC procedures in line with industry standards and internal policies.
Required profile
- Undergraduate degree or relevant post‑secondary education preferred.
- Some experience in sales, customer service, financial services, insurance, pensions, or group benefits preferred; training will be provided.
- Strong interest in developing prospecting, relationship‑building, negotiation, and sales skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain information clearly and professionally.
- Motivated, goal‑oriented, and eager to learn in a sales‑focused environment.
- Good organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining sales logs and client records.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to ongoing professional growth and training, including willingness to complete relevant industry designations.
- Basic knowledge of compliance, KYC, and regulatory requirements in insurance or financial services is an asset.
- Must submit a valid Bermuda police clearance certificate prior to commencement.
