LPG Driver / Plant Attendant

About the role

Join SOL Petroleum Bermuda as an LPG Driver/Plant Attendant, responsible for safely transporting LPG cylinders across the island and supporting depot operations. You will work closely with the Operations Supervisor to ensure deliveries are on time, funds are accurately collected, and safety standards are upheld.

Key responsibilities

• Drive company vehicles in compliance with Bermuda road transport regulations and company policies.
• Deliver LPG cylinders to customers island‑wide and collect payment for submission to the Depot Clerk.
• Assist truck attendants with loading, shifting, and stacking LPG cylinders at the depot and retail sites.
• Complete daily vehicle checklists, defect reports, and LPG bulk customer site checklists.
• Secure cylinders on vehicles, keep the vehicle clean, and report any incidents immediately.
• Participate in HSE meetings, toolbox talks, emergency drills, and hazard identification programs.
• Provide courteous customer service and report any “black spots” on delivery routes.

Required profile

• Secondary education with at least three CXC passes, including Mathematics and English.
• Mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• Proven experience driving heavy‑goods vehicles.
• Penalty‑free heavy‑goods vehicle driving licence.
