LPG Driver & Plant Attendant

About the role

The company seeks a reliable LPG Driver/Plant Attendant to safely transport LPG cylinders across Bermuda, deliver to customers, and handle related depot duties. The role involves operating company vehicles, ensuring compliance with road and safety regulations, and providing professional customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Safe delivery of LPG cylinders and bulk deliveries to customer sites island‑wide.
• Transport of goods from Customs to the company compound when required.
• Complete daily vehicle checklists, defect reports, and LPG bulk customer site checklists.
• Collect and submit accurate funds to the Depot Clerk each day.
• Secure cylinders on vehicles, assist with shifting and stacking at depots and retail sites, and keep the assigned vehicle clean and in good condition.
• Participate in HSE meetings, toolbox talks, emergency drills, and report black‑spot locations on routes.

Required profile

• Secondary education with at least three CXC passes, including Mathematics and English.
• Mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• Experience driving heavy‑goods vehicles and a penalty‑free heavy‑goods vehicle licence.
• Well‑organized, knowledgeable about LPG safety, and able to work effectively in a team.
• Compliance with HSE and emergency codes.
