LPG Driver/Plant Attendant

About the role

The LPG Driver/Plant Attendant is responsible for safely transporting LPG cylinders across Bermuda, delivering to customers and handling bulk shipments. The role also includes collecting funds, maintaining vehicle condition, and supporting depot operations.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver LPG cylinders and bulk loads to customer sites island‑wide, ensuring secure loading and safe handling.
• Transport goods from Customs to the company compound when required.
• Complete the daily vehicle checklist and truck defect report.
• Report any vehicle incidents immediately to the Operations Supervisor.
• Collect and submit accurate funds to the Depot Clerk each day.
• Drive company vehicles in accordance with Bermuda road‑transport regulations and defensive‑driving practices.
• Assist with shifting and stacking LPG cylinders at the depot and retail sites.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and good working condition.
• Complete the LPG bulk customer site checklist and provide feedback on LPG rack conditions.
• Participate in HSE meetings, toolbox talks, emergency drills and hazard identification programs.

Required profile

• Secondary education with at least three CXC passes, including Mathematics and English.
• Mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• Experience driving heavy‑goods vehicles and a penalty‑free heavy‑goods vehicle licence.
