LPG Driver/Plant Attendant

About the role

The LPG Driver/Plant Attendant is responsible for safely operating SOL Petroleum’s vehicles to deliver LPG cylinders across Bermuda, collect payments, and support depot operations. This role requires strict adherence to road safety regulations, defensive driving techniques, and company HSE standards.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver LPG cylinders and bulk loads to customer sites island‑wide.
• Transport goods from Customs to the company compound when required.
• Complete daily vehicle checklists and defect reports.
• Report any vehicle incidents immediately to the Operations Supervisor.
• Collect and submit accurate funds to the Depot Clerk each day.
• Secure cylinders on vehicles and ensure safe handling of equipment and documents.
• Assist with shifting and stacking LPG cylinders at the depot and retail sites.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and good working condition.
• Participate in HSE meetings, toolbox talks, and emergency drills.

Required profile

• Secondary education with at least three CXC passes, including Mathematics and English.
• Mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• Experience driving heavy‑goods vehicles.
• Penalty‑free heavy‑goods vehicle driving licence.
