Manager, Financial Reporting

About the role

The Manager, Financial Reporting, serves as a key representative of the Controller’s organization and collaborates daily with leaders, managers, and colleagues across our markets and other functional teams to facilitate the successful achievement of organizational goals.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparation of consolidated financial statements and disclosures under U.S. GAAP.
• Lead application of U.S. GAAP standards, perform technical accounting research and provide guidance to local teams.
• Maintain knowledge of ASU updates and implement related accounting policy changes.
• Oversee accounting and reporting of bonus plans, cash‑flow statements, business combinations, equity investments and impairment reviews.
• Ensure SOX compliance, maintain internal control documentation and work with the internal SOX team.
• Manage external audit process, disclosure committee and preparation of reports for senior management, Board and Audit Committee.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with CPA, CA or ACCA qualification.
• 5+ years of public accounting experience in a Big‑4 firm.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SOX reporting and purchase accounting.
• Experience with consolidation across multiple foreign‑currency jurisdictions, preferably in Consumer Packaged Goods.
• Highly motivated self‑starter with strong communication and analytical abilities.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Workiva software for financial reporting (preferred).
• SAP (preferred).
• IBM Cognos (preferred).
