About the role

The Mobile Sales Specialist role at HSBC focuses on delivering sales targets across a range of financial products while providing a high‑quality, customer‑centric experience. You will engage customers through multiple channels, promote digital banking, and take ownership of end‑to‑end outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve agreed sales and activity targets for new lending, credit cards, credit limit increases, general insurance, and credit enhancement products.
• Engage customers in‑person, by phone, and digitally to identify needs, present suitable solutions, and progress applications to completion.
• Build strong relationships through needs‑based conversations and recommend appropriate HSBC products and services.
• Promote digital banking adoption and guide customers toward convenient self‑service options.
• Take end‑to‑end ownership of customer outcomes, resolving issues and complaints promptly with a focus on first‑contact resolution.
• Maintain strong risk discipline by providing accurate product information, ensuring high data quality, and delivering right‑first‑time outcomes.
• Follow all HSBC policies and procedures, including financial crime, risk, compliance, and non‑financial risk requirements.
• Maintain required role accreditations in line with the IWPB Accreditation Framework and contribute to a high‑performing team culture.

Required profile

• High School Diploma (or equivalent) with at least 2 years of banking or customer‑facing financial services experience.
• Proven ability to work to sales targets and deliver strong customer outcomes.
• Strong interpersonal, influencing, and negotiation skills.
• Customer‑service mindset with evidence of effective issue resolution.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Team‑player willing to support colleagues to achieve shared goals.
