Overnight Guest Service Agent

About the role

Join Fairmont Southampton’s award‑winning team as an Overnight Guest Service Agent. Working the night shift, you will ensure guests receive seamless, luxury‑standard service while preparing the property for the next day’s operations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide professional, friendly, and attentive service to guests, handling inquiries, requests and concerns in line with Fairmont luxury standards.
• Greet, check‑in and check‑out guests efficiently, manage telephone and email communications, and promote hotel facilities and local information.
• Drive revenue by upselling room categories and hotel amenities.
• Conduct nightly audit procedures, reconciling rooms, food & beverage and other hotel accounts, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
• Prepare accurate financial reports and hand over operational readiness to the day‑shift team.

Required profile

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong service orientation.
• Ability to work independently during night hours and maintain attention to detail.
• Basic numeracy and comfort with financial reconciliation.
• Flexibility to handle a variety of guest requests and resolve issues promptly.

Required skills

• Guest service experience in a hotel or hospitality environment.
• Familiarity with front‑desk operations and night audit processes.
