Product Governance Manager

About the role

The Product Governance Manager will support product teams across the bank by ensuring products are properly registered in local jurisdictions and that governance policies are effectively implemented. This role works globally, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to maintain product registers, oversee policy frameworks, and act as a subject‑matter expert on product governance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage relationships with third‑party and Group service providers for global product ranges.
• Develop and maintain global policies and frameworks for approving new products and enhancements.
• Coordinate and maintain a central register of product registrations.
• Conduct product reviews and sales suitability activities.
• Serve as the subject‑matter expert on product governance matters.
• Review and update product policies to reflect regulatory changes and strategic direction.
• Maintain agenda, terms of reference, periodic updates and liaison with governance committees.
• Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including third‑party distributors.

Required profile

• Proven progressive experience in financial services or an equivalent sector.
• Minimum bachelor’s degree in business, a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong planning, organisational, project‑management, statistical and analytical capabilities.
• Excellent communication, presentation and lateral‑thinking skills.
