Resort Fleet Mechanic – Luxury Hospitality

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join the Engineering & Facility Operations team at Fairmont Southampton, Bermuda’s largest resort. The role focuses on maintaining and repairing the resort’s fleet of vehicles to ensure safe and reliable operations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct daily inspections of all fleet vehicles and equipment, including buses, vans, golf carts and maintenance machinery.
• Perform routine and corrective maintenance on gas‑ and electric‑powered vehicles.
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults and complete timely repairs.
• Execute preventative maintenance programmes to minimise downtime.
• Maintain cleanliness and overall upkeep of the fleet.
• Record maintenance activities, repair histories and cost data accurately.
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and operational requirements.

Required profile

• Experience in servicing a variety of vehicle types, such as cars, buses, vans, trucks and golf carts.
• Ability to work independently and follow safety procedures in a hospitality environment.
• Strong attention to detail for inspections and record‑keeping.
