Sales Manager – Luxury Hospitality (Bermuda)

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Sales Manager to lead group, meetings, events and corporate travel sales for Fairmont Southampton, Bermuda’s largest resort. Reporting to the Director of Group Sales and the Director of Transient Sales, you will be the primary sales representative for the Bermuda market, driving revenue through proactive business development and relationship‑based selling.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve individual revenue, room‑night and sales activity targets.
• Prospect, develop and secure new group business across corporate, association, incentive, government, social and special‑event segments.
• Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to proposal development, site inspections, contract negotiation and conversion.
• Develop and execute strategic account plans to maximise revenue and client retention.
• Conduct presentations, client meetings and site tours to showcase the resort’s facilities.
• Collaborate with internal departments (operations, catering, marketing) to ensure seamless event delivery.
• Maintain accurate sales records and report performance to senior sales leadership.

Required profile

• Proven experience in hotel or resort group sales, preferably within a luxury environment.
• Strong relationship‑building and account‑management capabilities.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
