Senior Account Manager

About the role

Marsh is looking for a Senior Account Manager to join its Hamilton, Bermuda office on a full‑time, onsite basis. You will manage a portfolio of insurance and reinsurance clients, ensuring accurate financial reporting and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, colleagues and stakeholders.
• Perform technical reviews of financial statements in accordance with US GAAP or IFRS.
• Coordinate timely responses to accounting and regulatory inquiries.
• Manage audit and regulatory reporting processes.
• Partner on fee negotiations and management agreements.
• Mentor junior colleagues on company processes and procedures.
• Participate in client meetings, presenting financial and regulatory information.

Required profile

• Professional accounting designation (ACCA, CA, CPA) with at least 8 years of recent insurance management experience.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting under GAAP and IFRS, including IFRS 17 and Segregated Account Companies.
• Excellent understanding of local insurance regulations, policy structures and procedures.
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
• Ability to manage workload independently, work under pressure and train junior team members.
