Senior Actuarial Associate, Reporting

About the role

Kuvare Services Bermuda Ltd. is seeking a Senior Actuarial Associate to join its Valuation team. Reporting to the Director of Actuary, you will support financial and regulatory reporting for Bermuda‑domiciled reinsurers.

Key responsibilities

• Produce, analyse and explain quarterly and year‑end US GAAP reserves, Bermuda EBS Technical Provisions and BSCR.
• Support regulatory submissions to the BMA, including Capital & Solvency Return and Financial Condition Report.
• Assist with LDTI implementation for Bermuda entities, conducting parallel runs and documenting new processes.
• Generate monthly US Stat reserves for third‑party cedants and develop new valuation models and assumptions.
• Perform actual‑to‑expected experience analysis and monitor in‑force treaty performance.
• Support year‑end GAAP audit and Approved Actuary processes by providing data and analysis.
• Stay current on industry developments, reporting standards and regulatory trends.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Finance, Risk Management or a related field.
• ASA designation or equivalent.
• 3‑5 years of actuarial experience in life/annuity (re)insurance or consulting.
• Experience with US GAAP, US Stat, Bermuda EBS, BSCR, RBC and/or Solvency II.
• Knowledge of annuities (FDAs, FIAs, PAs) and life insurance products is a plus.
