Senior Manager – Restructuring (Bermuda)

About the role

Kroll is seeking a Senior Manager to join its Restructuring practice in Bermuda. The role involves leading high‑profile insolvency, restructuring and cross‑border investigations for a diverse client base that includes banks, private equity firms, lenders and corporate entities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead complex insolvency and restructuring assignments across common‑law jurisdictions, including the US, UK, Europe, Cayman Islands, BVI and Hong Kong.
• Manage engagements such as financial and operational restructurings, liquidations (official and voluntary), valuations and corporate advisory investigations.
• Analyse companies’ financial performance quickly and provide actionable insights.
• Support legal claims, including professional negligence and breach of fiduciary duties.
• Draft detailed affidavits, expert reports and other formal court documents.
• Mentor and manage junior staff, contributing to best‑practice development.
• Develop and maintain relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Coordinate local business‑development initiatives and events with lawyers, bankers and fund managers.
• Monitor work‑in‑progress, budgets and profitability while ensuring compliance with risk‑management and quality‑control standards.
• Collaborate with international Kroll offices on multi‑jurisdictional matters.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant discipline.
• Professional qualification in insolvency, accounting or law from an internationally recognised body.
• 7‑8 years of recent, relevant experience in insolvency, restructuring or related advisory work.
