Senior Transaction Diligence Associate – Financial Services

About the role

Join EY's Financial Services Organization as a Senior Associate in the Transaction Diligence team. You will work on high‑profile M&A engagements, supporting private equity and corporate clients through the full diligence lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive financial due diligence on target companies across banking, capital markets, wealth management and insurance.
• Analyse historical financial statements, profit drivers and trends to assess run‑rate profitability.
• Identify and quantify financial risks, providing clear recommendations to clients.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional EY teams to deliver integrated insights and support deal execution.
• Prepare detailed diligence reports and presentations for senior stakeholders.

Required profile

• University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in transaction diligence, M&A advisory or related financial analysis.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with senior client executives.
