Senior Underwriting Operations Technician – Bermuda

About the role

This senior position is based in our Bermuda office and reports dotted‑line to the Operations Business Partnering team in London. It offers an experienced insurance professional the chance to drive operational excellence and support underwriting teams across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Daily monitoring of a dedicated mailbox and ensuring all queries are answered within SLA.
• KPI/CRM monitoring and completion of daybook entries and Wizards where required.
• Attaching slips in the main workflow system, data enrichment and checking Charisma entries for anomalies.
• Co‑ordinating exception reports, conducting RCAs and liaising closely with Business Partners and Velonetic technicians.
• General maintenance of policy history, organising and filing, and completing pricing models when needed.
• Preparing and distributing weekly reports and assisting with the maintenance of Business Partner procedure manuals.
• Supporting underwriting teams with daily tasks, UAT, analytics on premium, losses and commissions, and identifying variances and trends.
• Liaising with brokers, underwriters and treasury on letters of credit, verifying collateral and ensuring compliance with Terms of Business Agreements.
