Stewarding & Set‑Up Supervisor

About the role

Join Fairmont Southampton, Bermuda’s largest resort, as the Stewarding & Set‑Up Supervisor. You will lead daily stewarding and venue set‑up operations across kitchens, restaurants, banqueting areas, beach venues and back‑of‑house spaces, ensuring impeccable cleanliness, hygiene and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise, schedule and coordinate stewarding and set‑up staff during assigned shifts.
• Provide on‑the‑job training, coaching and clear direction to achieve performance standards.
• Monitor team productivity, adherence to policies and overall performance.
• Oversee cleaning and sanitising of kitchen areas, including dishwashing, pot‑washing, sinks, floors and equipment.
• Ensure proper operation, maintenance and care of dishwashers, pot‑washers and other cleaning equipment.
• Foster a positive, professional and team‑oriented working environment.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising stewarding or set‑up teams in a hospitality environment.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to schedule and coordinate staff effectively.
• Ability to train, coach and motivate team members to meet high standards.
• Commitment to maintaining rigorous hygiene, safety and cleanliness protocols.
