US Tax Senior – Investment Management (Bermuda)

About the role

As a US Tax Senior you will provide tax compliance and consulting services to investment‑management clients in Bermuda. You act as a trusted advisor, delivering tax solutions, supporting continuous learning, and gaining exposure to complex, cross‑border challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, plan and execute US tax engagements from start to finish, assisting clients with tax planning, research and compliance filings.
• Leverage tax tools and emerging technologies to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Develop and mentor junior tax team members, fostering their professional growth.
• Participate in well‑being, sustainability and community initiatives aligned with Deloitte’s Shared Values.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent qualification (e.g., ACCA); professional designation allowing practice before the US IRS (CPA, attorney, Enrolled Agent) or near completion.
• Minimum 3 years of experience delivering tax services in a professional services firm, large law firm or public accounting organization.
• Strong knowledge of US international tax compliance and the Internal Revenue Code.
• Preferred experience in US taxation of investment products (hedge funds) or insurance companies.
• Master’s degree in accounting, taxation or related field, and/or JD/LLM with a tax focus from a US‑accredited institution.
