Assurance Senior Associate – PCAOB Audits

About the role

PwC Bermuda is seeking a Senior Associate for its Assurance practice to work on PCAOB, SEC and SOX‑related audits for banking and reinsurance clients. You will help deliver high‑quality audit services, ensuring financial statements are free from material misstatement and complying with US regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform audit procedures for public‑company engagements in a SOX‑compliant environment.
• Assess internal controls, governance and risk management processes.
• Prepare audit documentation and issue audit reports in accordance with PCAOB standards.
• Collaborate with senior managers and partners to address complex accounting and auditing issues.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to talent development.

Required profile

• 3+ years of audit experience, preferably in banking or reinsurance.
• Professional accounting designation (CA, CPA, ACA, ACCA).
• Experience with public‑company audits under SOX.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of US GAAP.
• Proficiency with PCAOB auditing standards.
• Understanding of SOX compliance requirements.
