Associate Director - Private Client

About the role

Ocorian is seeking an Associate Director to lead a portfolio of high‑value private client structures in Bermuda. Working closely with the Head of Private Client Bermuda, you will build trusted relationships, drive business development, and lead a high‑performing team to deliver exceptional service.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of complex private client structures, ensuring service excellence and long‑term client satisfaction.
• Lead, coach and develop team members, fostering a high‑performance culture focused on accountability and collaboration.
• Support workforce and succession planning, identifying future talent needs and mentoring staff.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, intermediaries and key stakeholders to expand services.
• Represent Ocorian externally, strengthening market presence and generating new business opportunities.
• Monitor market trends, client needs and competitor activity to inform strategic growth.
• Identify and pursue cross‑selling and business development opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal service lines and support functions to ensure operational excellence.
• Oversee financial management activities, including billing, cash collection and portfolio profitability.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing private client or wealth‑management portfolios.
• Strong leadership and people‑development capabilities.
• Excellent client‑relationship and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Commercial awareness with a track record of business development.
• Ability to analyse market trends and translate insights into growth strategies.
• Solid understanding of financial management and profitability monitoring.
