US Tax Senior – Investment Management (Bermuda)

About the role

Deloitte is seeking a US Tax Senior to join its Bermuda office, supporting investment‑management and reinsurance clients. You will act as a trusted advisor, delivering tax compliance, planning and consulting services while gaining exposure to complex, cross‑border challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, plan and execute US tax engagements from start to finish for investment‑management clients.
• Prepare and review tax research, planning recommendations and compliance filings.
• Utilise Deloitte tax tools and emerging technologies to improve service delivery.
• Mentor and develop junior tax team members.
• Participate in well‑being, sustainability and community initiatives aligned with Deloitte’s values.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent qualification (e.g., ACCA).
• Professional designation permitting practice before the US IRS (US‑state CPA, attorney, or IRS Enrolled Agent) or near completion.
• Minimum 3 years of tax experience in a professional services firm, large law firm or public accounting organisation.
• Strong knowledge of US international tax compliance and the US Internal Revenue Code.
