Courier – Package Delivery and Pickup

About the role

FedEx is seeking courteous and efficient couriers to handle the pickup, sorting, and delivery of packages. The role involves ensuring shipments comply with FedEx Express service standards and relevant customs regulations while providing excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Pick up, inspect, and deliver assigned packages on schedule.
• Complete all required paperwork, including airway bills, delivery records, and customs documentation.
• Verify package labeling, weight, size, insurance values, and hazardous-material requirements.
• Maintain vehicle safety, follow local traffic laws, and secure FedEx and customer property.
• Collect duties/taxes invoices for customs processing when needed.
• Identify additional business opportunities and forward leads to the sales team.
• Ensure personal appearance, uniform, and vehicle are neat and clean.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license for the assigned vehicle and a clean driving record.
• Minimum age of 21 years.
• Ability to lift 70 lb (32 kg) and maneuver single packages up to 150 lb (68 kg) with equipment.
• Basic reading, map‑reading, sorting, and math skills.
• Good verbal and written communication, customer‑oriented attitude, and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility to work variable shifts.
