Financial Accountant – Senior Accounting Professional (Bermuda)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to join a well‑established Bermuda‑based business. The role offers a broad, hands‑on accounting function within a fast‑paced commercial environment, allowing you to make an immediate impact on financial reporting and treasury activities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts and related journal entries, accruals, and pre‑payments.
• Perform bank reconciliations across multiple accounts and manage cash positions.
• Oversee accounts payable, including foreign‑currency payments, and support accounts receivable collections and cash management.
• Execute intercompany reconciliations, expense allocations, and treasury payments.
• Prepare audit working papers, support audit processes, and provide backup for AP/AR functions as needed.

Required profile

• Proven experience in senior accounting, assistant controller, finance manager or a similar role.
• Strong month‑end and management reporting background.
• Ability to work on‑site in Bermuda and start on short notice.
